Inspiring Future Scientists
We are honoured to have Dr Anthony Tether, former Director of DARPA as our guest speaker at the Young Defence Scientist Programme (YDSP) lecture series to share with the students his insightful views in the world of science and technology.
The lecture series was held on 16 September 2009 at NUS High School. At the lecture entitled ‘Bridging the Gap’, Dr Tether shared some of the cutting-edge technologies that DARPA has been researching.
After the talk, the students were given the opportunity to engage in exciting discussions with Dr Tether. The students were clearly inspired over the myriad of possibilities they can realise in the area of science and engineering.
