The second camp Aero-Adventure 2006 was jointly organised by the YDSP Office and Singapore Science Centre from 12 to 16 June 2006. Its objective was to expose the students to the development and application of Aerodynamics to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) today. The programme began with presentations on the concept and design of UAVs by DSTA and DSO engineers and scientists.
This was followed by a visit on “Forces of Flight on the Human Body” at the Aeromedical Centre. They later attended a workshop on the construction of Aero-Models conducted by Singapore Science Centre (SSC) and Flight Science G.O.V. The finale was the competition where students put their designs to accomplish a series of missions.
